L'astérisk's team 

L'astérisk project manager is the employee coordinating the use and the maintenance of l'astérisk. They facilitate the sharing of resources and best practices as well as collaborations between the Colocs and local community groups working on projects and services for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth. They also organize activities in l'astérisk and as part of the Jeune Queer Youth team.

The Coalition of LGBTQ+ youth groups is the organization that coordinates the l'astérisk project. Its mission is to offer resources that facilitates collaboration between Quebec LGBTQ+ youth groups and to raise awareness about the realities and struggles of LGBTQ+ youth. L'astérisk's Roomates are the organisations offering services and resources to 2SLGBTQIA+ youths in l'astérisk to support these youths empowerment, wellbeing and community initiatives.

Jeunesse Lambda is a group facilitating discussions, activities & workshops by and for 2SLGBTQIA+ and questionning youth (14 to 25 years-old).

 

Jeunesse Lambda offers: 

  • a dinner and discussion night every Fridays. (more info)

  • a day of free/pay-what-you-can hair-cut appointments.

  • affirming prosthesis and accessories. (more info)

AlterHéros is a community engaged in fighting against prejudices and for the demystification of the realities of gender and sexual diversity. Their services are offered to 2SLGBTQIA+ and questionning youth (14 to 30 years-old). 

AlterHéro offers:

  • an online peer-support platform called Ask your question

Project 10 works to promote the personal, social, sexual and mental well being of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth (14 to 25 years-old).
